Cloudflare has just turned up two new datacenters in Curaçao and Djibouti (numbers 108 and 109), They are located continents-apart, yet share something very-much in common as both of these new data centers are deployed and associated with where undersea cables reach land. Undersea cables have been and still are a growing part of the interconnected world that the Internet represents.

Since Cloudflare began with their very first data center in Chicago, we are especially excited that our expansion takes them to its sister city. Where the Sava meets the Danube, Belgrade (Serbia) is home to Cloudflare’s 107th data center.
Cloudflare’s 106th data center is located in Kansas City, USA. Helping make 6 million websites even faster in the Midwest, as their newest deployment joins existing United States facilities in Ashburn, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Newark, Omaha, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tampa.
Today we welcome Sydney, Australia to our shared hosting locations. 040Hosting from now offers hosting in ; United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France, Germany, USA, Singapore and Sydney, Australia.
We currently offer the following hosting services in Sydney Australia: Shared Hosting SSD, Elastic Site SSD Hosting and Reseller Hosting SSD and of course Domain Registration and SSL certificates.
Datacenter Rome, Italy
We’re excited to announce Cloudflare’s 105th data center in Rome. Visitors in Italy (and especially around the region of Lazio) to over 6 million Internet properties now benefit from reduced latency and increased security. As Cloudfalre’s global network grows in breadth and capacity, they are able to stop attacks (typically, outside of Italy!), while serving legitimate traffic from their nearest in-country data center. Rome serves as a point of redundancy to Cloudfalre’s existing data center in Milan, and expands Cloudflare’s Europe network to 29 cities, with at least five more cities already in the works.
Datacenter Yerevan, Armenia
Yerevan, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, has a rich history going back all the way to 782 BC. Famous for its cognac, lavash flatbread, and beautiful medieval churches, Armenia is also home to more chess grand-masters per capita than most countries!
Datacenter Quito, Ecuador
Located only 15 miles from the Equator, we are excited to announce Cloudflare’s newest data center in the World Heritage City of Quito, Ecuador. This deployment is made possible in partnership with the NAP.EC Internet exchange run by AEPROVI (Asociación de empresas proveedoras de servicios de internet). Cloudflare’s newest data center expands the growing Latin America network to six cities, joining Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru), Medellin (Colombia), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Valparaiso (Chile). Quito is Cloudflare’s 104th deployment globally
Several new cities are in the work around the globe, so we will have more announcements.

Located alongside the Mediterranean, Barcelona, is the capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia, the second-most populated municipality in Spain and the core of the fifth-most populous urban area in the Europe. Cloudflare’s data center in Barcelona is their 3rd in the Iberian Peninsula following the deployments in Madrid and Lisbon, it is Cloudflares 28th in Europe, and 101st globally. This means not only better performance in Catalonia and Spain, but additional redundancy for Cloudflare’s European data centers.
As of this moment, Cloudflare has a point of presence (PoP) in 7 out of Europe’s 10 most populous urban areas, and with number 8 coming soon. Rome, Italy.
Cloudflare has connected to the Catalunya Neutral Internet Exchange (“CATNIX”). This raises the number of exchanges that Cloudflare is a participant in to over 150. As Cloudflare expands their peering, more visitors get served locally. If you wish to connect with Cloudflare at CATNIX (or any of our other locations) you can find their peering details on their PeeringDB profile.
As you may have read in the news almost all Linux systems since 2007 are vulnerable for something called Dirty Cow.
Without going into the details the machines most vulnerable to this exploit would be web facing servers; in other words; our servers.
we are glad to announce that our server park has already been patched as soon the fix was available.
Obviously we keep monitoring the situation and take action when and if needed.
